The paper discusses the issue of reliable voice transmission with good quality low energy consumption of mobile devices. Investigated the benefit of using header compression. Presents the average scores of opinions of users in the case of various voice application. The comparison of the voice quality by using one of the voice applications under different network load. The example of optimization of power consumption of the mobile terminal.
