ANALYSIS AND DETECTION OF REGULARITIES IN THE STREAM OF MOVING OBJECTS

The article examines the management of traffic in the city with the use of modern information technologies. The relevance of the research is due to the annual growth of the number of vehicles and, as a result, the widespread and the everyday occurrence of harsh situations on urban roads. In this way, this article is aimed at finding a solution to the problem of the management of urban traffic. According to the task, an overview of various local methods of adaptive traffic management is being reviewed. Based on the analysis of the existing methods of adaptive control and the revealed specific features on the use of each, a new method for analyzing and detecting regularities in the flow of moving objects is proposed, which was developed by combining several of the methods of adaptive control considered: the queuing method of the queue and the method for finding the discontinuity. This method is designed to be implemented in an intelligent adaptive traffic management system. The use of this method in the traffic management system is justified both for high and low traffic congestion due to the peculiarities of the work of the method of the queue separation and the method of searching for a break. In this regard, the application of this method is aimed at reducing the likelihood of occurrence of harsh situations on monitored road sections, as well as improving the efficiency of the road transport management system.
