THE ACCURATE CALCULATION OF PARTS TREATMENT COST FROM SHEET METAL ON THE CNC LASER CUTTING MACHINE IN PROBLEM OF TOOL ROUTING OPTIMIZATION

The problem of objective function accurate calculation in issue of cutting tool route for CNC laser cutting machines is considered in this paper. The objective function is laser cutting cost depending on some parameters. The calculation of ones is complicated because of the type of laser in CNC machines, grade and thickness of work-in-process materials, cost of expendable materials, gas consumption and cost, amortization and wages of service personals should be considered. The mathematical model of laser cutting cost accurate calculation is presented. Based on proposed model the calculation of basic parameters is performed for CNC CO2 laser machine ByStar3015. The second part of paper considered example of laser cutting cost calculation for nesting. During develop of NC programs in CAD/CAM “SIRIUS” the cutting tool route is built for two cases: standard and special cutting techniques. Analysis of received results shows that application of special cutting technique minimizes the laser cutting cost.
