It is almost impossible to imagine a person without electronic digital gadgets in modern conditions of ubiquitous informatization. And this tendency is proposed to be used to fulfill socially useful tasks of controlling the infrastructure of urbanized areas. This requires the creation of solutions at the intersection of sociology, psychology, urban studies and information technology. Involving a citizen in routine tasks on a voluntary basis necessitates the use of non-trivial approaches, for example, based on gamification. In this regard, the article analyzes the existing tools for game interaction with objects of an urban environment. A new approach to infrastructure objects monitoring based on game interaction with them is proposed. The issues of development of game logic of interaction with urban objects for the simultaneous collection of data on their state are considered. The article describes a software package created using Python, Django, TypeScript, React Native, Google Maps, PostgreSQL, PostGIS and NativeBase technologies that implements the proposed approach to gamification of data collection. The concept of the developed game consists in the user's actions to «service» own and «capture» other people's objects to move up the rating among other players. The main way to increase user level in the game is to take more objects of ownership and complete missions for which experience and coins are awarded. The mobile gaming application allows users to organize their leisure time in open urban spaces, interacting contactlessly with infrastructure objects in a competitive gaming process.
