The diffraction structures having different shapes, are part of modern antennas and antenna systems, as well as technical objects characterized by complex shapes. In this work the analysis of the dispersion characteristics of elementary diffraction structures with a rectangular plate. The analysis was performed in the short wavelength region on the basis of approximation of physical optics. The graphs of the two-parameter spectrum, Sorona for the wavelet transform in the plane structure function, given the approximation of a specified function using a linear dependence. Given result can be considered a confirmation of the fact that there are fractal properties of the signal that is reflected from the rectangular plate. The Hurst exponent is determined.
