The research urgency is caused by necessity creation of a radar system, the helicopter landing on an unprepared ground, as this phase flight is associated with the greatest number accidents. Currently, the development systems for safe landing helicopters is one the priority tasks. These issues are dealt with significant number companies abroad and in our country. One the key problems when landing on unprepared ground are the conditions of insufficient visibility. When landing on dry or snow-covered soil air jet from the main rotor the helicopter picks up suspended solids that critically reduces visibility and may lead to an incorrect assessment by the pilot the helicopter position relative to the earth, moreover, may go undetected obstacles in the landing zone (large stones, static and moving objects). In addition, adverse weather conditions or insufficient light in the landing zone can be shrubs, trees, power lines, masts, buildings, structures, etc. In this regard, this article proposed a practical implementation this device, describing the work. Helicopter safe landing system radar is capable decision entrusted to them at any time of the day, in VFR and IFR weather conditions, in the presence natural and artificial interference, and have a number features of the application. The materials the article are of practical value to professionals in the field helicopter landing in the Arctic, in remote forested, mountainous, mountain area terrain, etc.
